10TH & 11TH GRADE PSAT - OCTOBER
On Wednesday, October 11, 2017, both 10th and 11th graders will take the PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test). It's a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT®. It also gives students a chance to enter National Merit Scholarship Corporation programs and gain access to college and career planning tools.
CMS pays for all 10th and 11th graders to take this test. At West Meck, this test is administered via 10th and 11th grade homerooms.

Introducing ScoreWrite: A Guide to Preparing for the SAT Essay
Do you want to help your students prepare for the essay portion of the PSAT? Try using PSAT's 2013-2014 ScoreWrite program. It simulates the essay-writing experience by providing a prompt, answer sheet, and sample essays. There are also directions for administering ScoreWrite to students.

10TH GRADE Preact - OCTOBER
On Wednesday October 18th, 2017 all 10th graders will take Pre-ACT. Pre-ACT serves as the midpoint measure of academic progress in ACT's College and Career Readiness System. ACT Plan helps 10th graders build a solid foundation for future academic and career success and provides information needed to address school districts' high-priority issues.
